I accomplished a lot today. I decided that it was too hot not to exert myself outside and get really really sweaty and stinky, so I took my bike out and vaguely went north to use that big ugly HSBC bank building and maybe go to Foodswings for lunch (I did not find it.) It's a little different in the city compared to Long Island. Especially Brooklyn. I've discovered Brooklyn is like the worst parts about biking in Manhattan (the congestion) combined with the worst parts of biking in Staten Island (really angry people trying to hit you.) In order to go over the Williamsburg Bridge, I have to take Bedford Avenue, which is like two lanes and filled with dumptrucks and cement mixers and buses.
