i have been at work since 1800 yesterday. i was supposed to be off 45 minutes ago. my relief has not shown. i am not happy about that. it has been a damn long time since i have stood for 12 hours on hard concrete. i hear calgon calling me as we speak.

today just really needs to be winding up. i found out yesterday that the only person that i really get along with is leaving. i met him when i took my year sabatical and was working in roswell. i got him an job here, but he has never been happy. i am glad he is moving on to something "more up his alley", but will miss my friend. my mother-in- ( Read more... )

last night was just beautiful. south fulton county has little smog/polution and city lights to muck things up. the sky after all the rain completely cleared up the atmosphere, and there were no clouds. i could see all the stars so perfectly. we didn't get out of work until 2000, which is three hours after we normally do, but it gave us the ( Read more... )
