(no subject)
Dropping this in my journal - this is for legendland, we have to do a picspam with commentary.
I can't spam this around till after June 25th sadly. Boo.
HOW YOU DOIN'?
(aka Richard and Nicci and why they're awesome together/hot together/secretly or not so secretly like each other. Or something like that. ~Disclaimer~ Most of this is my own personal canon, okay xD That's why...there's commentary. Yes.)

First of all, from the moment Nicci and Richard met each other, they couldn't keep their eyes off each other. They kept looking at each other's lips. I capped all the Richard and Nicci scenes from "Dark", and while flipping through them, you can just see Richard's eyes looking into Nicci's, then he takes a quick glance at her lips, then he moves his eyes up to hers again. Hahahaha, it's awesome.
Nicci then proceeds to show Richard his han and he's like "what the hell is this?", but it's hot.
They then go into a small, dark corner and stare at each other's lips again.
And even though they just met each other, they have become skilled in the art of sharing ~knowing glances~ and smirking at each other. And staring at each other a lot. Nicci is walking around passing out books, and Richard's eyes are following her all around, trying to suppress his urge to blurt out "How you doin'?"
OKAY, and then Nicci goes to his room with him (ooh, scandalous), and Richard can't keep his hands off of her. Then they look at each other's lips again. WHY WON'T YOU TWO START MAKING OUT ALREADY.
Then this magical scene takes place, where Richard gives Nicci his Han. LOOK AT THEIR HANDS. Curling up around each other, aww. And despite the fact Richard was being all devious, he totes looks upset when Nicci is trapped in that Rada'han.
AND THEN BOUND HAPPENS, AND IT'S HOT AND IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE EPISODES EVER
Nicci protests that Richard only cares about her wounded hand because Kahlan is also hurt, but he doesn't necessarily agree with her. He tells her something like "if we don't treat it, that would slow us down. Is that what you want?" He doesn't want to be mean, but he doesn't want to tell her that he cares about her. YEAH. IN MY HEAD, THAT'S CANON. Then Nicci stares at him a lot, because she's totes intrigued by him.
And then Nicci gets Kahlan beat up, Richard busts in, and then this awesome scene happens where Nicci comes on to Richard, and he just stands there the entire time and doesn't attempt to push her away. You'd think he would, right? I even wrote fic about this scene. That's how much I like it. And I don't voluntarily write fic.
Sadly, he pushes her away before she kisses him. *throws things* But even after Nicci gets Kahlan beat up, Richard is still nice to her, and listens to her with concern as she opens up to him. Awww. Richie, you so nice. And awww, Nicci, for opening up to him, and showing her more vulnerable side.
Then Nicci gets her magic back, and Richard looks all rage-face, but you know what? That sword ain't glowing, is it? Shouldn't he be in a rage after all Nicci has done to Kahlan? But he's not, is he? NO. BECAUSE HE LIKES NICCI AND IT'S AWESOME. So she just saunters away, and he doesn't try to stop her. So much for "I'll fight you to my last breath." Yeah. Good job, Richard. That must have been exhausting.
And okay, in "Creator", Richard says he doesn't get rage-y anymore because he gave his magic away, but Zedd, in another ep, says the Seeker's rage is fueled by the Sword or something, so that has nothing to do with the fact that Richard no longer has his magic. Also, "Creator" doesn't count because no one likes it. Again. Personal canon, if that's not a writer screw up ;)
