What would be brilliant?
Barack Obama opens the convention by introducing "A man who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy: my new running mate, Joe Biden!"
I didn't think he'd do it. I thought Biden's mouth would keep him off the ticket. I'm glad it didn't. Because it seems to me like Obama made his choice less about electoral politics and more about 'what if I get assasinated?' and 'what if I need advice?' And I like that. Also, the entertainment value.
