This journal feels like my long-lost friend. I miss it very much but have no time to maintain a proper relationship with it

I know exactly what you mean Amanda. I have to sometimes force myself to pull myself away from putting my thoughts on Twitter (I hate Facebook), and use my LJ instead for the reasons of which I first started it.

I don't even really look at my friends list on LJ anymore, but I'm trying to change that. I know down the track I'll regret looking at my LJ and seeing long stretches of nothing when I know that there was so much that I thought or did during that period. Forcing myself to get back into it now :)

Hope it's the same for you! I do miss some of your pre-Cookyn and Ellie posts :)

I love facebook, so it doesn't help!! :p And when I do visit LJ, I read all the friend's posts, then want to sit down and write something myself, then find it all too much of a hassle and end up not writing. :( I know what you mean about regretting it down the road but it does take such a lot of time. Grr.

I can't even remember what I used to post pre-Cookyn and Ellie!! It's like my entire life has been consumed by them, and I have very little me left. Or maybe this is the new me, I dunno!

Doesn't help that the LJ community seems to have shifted away to facebook or twitter or just stopped writing. I miss the old times!

I know how u r feeling, A. If not for K, I think I would b writing a whole lot less. And even when I write, it's always 12-1am, the only time I have to gather my thoughts.

hey amanda, i know how hard it is to find the time to write! just do it as and when you have the time and inspiration strikes! i always regret the moments that i let slip which i wanted to blog about but hey, we all do what we can. look forward to hearing more from you!
