Recently started taking a graphic design class ("Computers In Design") and today was the second class. Taking it for a few reasons. Mainly I feel the need for some sort of creative outlet that I can't seem to do while at home. I'm also curious about other career options. Wait, what? I won't be able to use the mouse until the end of the class? Well obviously they expect you all to know the proper keyboard shortcuts. Using a mouse can be dangerous. You might sprain a finger.

Well that explains why we spent so damn long going over the keyboard shortcuts. Of course everything seemed long that day....

The first few weeks are always a massive drag, try taking a required Keyboarding 101 *rolls eyes*. I take it as a good sign if the "by the end of the class" objectives look rather daunting. By the last week you should be learning something. And, er, what is expected of you? I speak "out of turn" at the very least 6 times a day. What college is this?
