Poll Quick question...
My favourite bit of the JKR interview...

How is george getting along without his twin?

J.K. Rowling: Well, I don’t think that George would ever get over losing Fred, which makes me feel so sad. However, he names his first child and son Fred, and he goes on to have a very successful career, helped by good old Ron.

Awww, I loved that too! It was nice to hear JKR confirm what we all knew about George - and Ron helping him get back up on his feet is adorable. Of course, there are people bitching even about this - they claim that Jo doesn't know her own canon, because she'd already said that Ron becomes an Auror. The thought that Ron could manage two things at once, ie. give George a helping hand and be an Auror, is too complex for them.

Idiots - Ron could do a few initial years with George before joining Harry as an Auror having at least 14 years to be a highly fluential Auror. It is possible to have more than one career in a life, don't these people realise! *shakes head* Plus JKR said Harry would go back to school, so that's a year right there.

Yes, that is my favorite post-series revelation of all! I love that Ron turned George into his project. I imagine the first few months, he was just bullying the poor guy out of mourning. Showing up early in the morning, banging on a pot with a spoon. "Wake up! We're going to work! Hup hup!" And then, when the hurt was less overwhelming, being way more sensitive and nuanced.

...I have been thinking about this a lot.
