So I misheard "I'll call you and tell you what time to come home" as "I'll call and tell you what time I'll be home".

Now I have to decide which tactic is less awkward: sitting at my computer ignoring everyone or getting up and walking out.

...you should get drunk and make a complete ass of yourself! It will make everything better. It always does.
Also, i have been heavily considering coming to new york to visit for a few days. :)
If i get the philosophy scholarship i applied for then i will have enough money to come.
So that will be good.
Anyways, go buy some whiskey and start the assmaking.
