I remember the feeling of being completely liberated from the trappings of school upon graduation. Hope yours is more permanent than mine ended up being.
Yeah, I do expect to go back to grad school, but not until I've gotten some real life experience. I figure I'll probably benefit from it more then. Plus it'll give me a chance to work up some capital for more tuition bills.
You might find that real world experience curbs your desire to go back to graduate school. There are only two reasons I went back to grad school. The first was that I was a trainer at my old job and recieved high praise for it, so I figured I had what it took to teach and that I would make more money and have more time off teaching at a school than working at my old job. The second was that there was this pretty undergrad at Miami I lost my heart to, so I wanted to choose a path that led me to Oxford so I could be closer to her.
If you go to grad school, only go to a place that pays you to attend with an assistantship or similar assistance. My assistantship waves tuition fees and pays me a monthly stipend which takes care of my basic expenses. Extra capital is always good to have when entering the grad student life since there are always things (car repairs, doctor bills, etc.) that crop up, but don't waste your hard earned and harder saved capital on tuition for grad school if you don't have to.
This is mostly what I expect to happen. Right now, I'm in my new apartment in Cleveland thinking, "oh, well, this is cool, but it doesn't feel very permanent." I guess this only changes with time.

Real life? What's that?

Real Life is the horrible nightmare world that follows college. Once it starts, everything goes down hill from them. Fear it.
