More Knitting!

Wow, you guys are going to get so tired of me doing this, but I knitted another thing!

This is my roommate's Christmas present. Obviously it is a little late. I didn't really know what to make her since she was taking up knitting and was going to make herself a scarf. I thought about making her a hat but then she got one over Christmas break so I ( Read more... )

Glad you like it :D

*grins* We'll talk. ^_^ That bag looks just about the right size to hold supplies like gaming dice... the perfect accessory for Call of Cthulu games. :3

Holy cats, that was fast. That one's on my to-do list, as well.

Nice to see you already have the stash addiction, to the point of trying to fund it reasonably. *cackling gleefully*

I blame you. :P

Yeah, this one took a lot longer than I intended. I thought it would take me an afternoon but it took two. The next time I try to do this pattern I'll do what the instructions say about picking up stitches from the base then making the bag in the round. I just didn't want to mess up the pattern so I made the bag flat then sewed up it. I think that made it a lot harder on myself. :D

I take full responsibility. That was my intention, after all. Great job for your first colorwork.

As for the construction, I despise sewing up, since mine always looks like crap. I'll pick up the stitches any day.

That's pretty bithcin' right there. The coral; it has uses, surprisingly.

But yeah, sweet job on it :3 It looks so nice and neat. Also, I have so much yarn now. I need to stop buying it XD F'ing Big Lots and there neato yarn. The arm warmers I'm making now are from this random yarn I got there. I was worried it was too cheapo...but damn, it's soft and came out so much better than expected. ANYWAYS, I'll be learning cabling in a day or so, so woot.
