I'm glad you're sharing these thoughts. I loved seeing the photos! I especially loved the one with the Indian Paintbrushes in the front lawn of Aunt J.'s cottage. But you took some fresh, evocative shots of a place I've seen a lot of photographs of (and taken a lot of photographs of).

Since I had a sad day with Mom yesterday, your post was perfect for me to read. A reminder that this has not just started but has been a progression. Wonderful pictures. I hear you about the quiet, even a chatty cathy like me runs out of words. I know it is bad when I am talking to myself about "her" as she walks out of the room. Again. LOVED the pictures. Thanks so much for sharing them.
