Suggestions wanted

I joined about a week ago, because I love giving hair advice, and I have been commenting on pretty well every post I see. I figure now I feel comfortable enough to ask for some guidance from everyone else. ( pics of what I want, and then a timeline )

You really like the brown the best? I think it's SO boring on me, so bland. I just don't feel ME with brown hair. Is there an inbetween I could get away with?

You have NO IDEA how badly I want to go back to that!

Your sampled ideas are great. Print out those and ask for them at your hairdresser. If you want to achieve that piecey textured look and want razor-cutting, then ask for that too and don't let them use anything else for cutting. A good hairdresser can work with any tools. Post some afters.

You don't agree with other commenters that I should keep it brown? I seem to be at 50/50 now for red vs brown. Is there ever such a thing as dark ash brown?
I am definitely getting that cut, though, because I'm in love with it.

The brighter the color is, the more it will work with that choppy razor-cut, especially if there are color variations, like blonde in the red. Brown is less extra, but get that if you want more elegance.

I'm actually thinking of doing a brown, just because I don't like root upleep...but if I do that I am getting blonde scattered throughout to peek through all that choppiness.
