I'm 20 years old and I want to dye my hair an unnatural colour now before i progress deeper into my 20's and acquire more responsibilities that would prevent such a self indulgent exercise. I feel like this is my last chance to have blue hair.

it has to be WHITE for your hair to turn such a lovely blue color. it totally CAN be done!! you just have to bleach it slowly and carefully. I took my hair from black to white in about...4 bleachings. it took a few months because i didn't want it to all break off, so just be patient!!

why not just do navy blue over what you have now? those highlights in your hair will def show up blue. maybe just get a bunch of chunky highlights and do it after. idk if i love that greeny turquoise on you. or do navy all over with whisps of turquoise through the ends like grown out highlights of turquoise. idk how to explain haha.

I really like that shade of blue, but I have to agree with this.
I think a darker blue would look really awesome on you as well, without requiring all the bleaching.

if you do this, your hair will never be the same again. at least, not until you grow out all of the bleach damage.

sure it'll look sweet but make sure you're okay with dealing with the damage, crappy feeling hair, and years of grow out.

I'm thinking about doing a blue streak (TO REPRESENT HOW MUCH I TALK, HAR HAR HAR) for my cousin's wedding in Maui...so I'm kinda on the same page as you right now. I have dyed black hair so I'm well aware of the nightmare in store
