WICKED!!!!!! or Godless (excellent book, believe me) and um, uh... Scarlet Letter! (oh wait, you're reading that already. its my favorite book ever)

if you like plot twists and turns, go for "along came a spider". first book of a chain of books starring the same main character, but not a series. really good books

btw, they're mystery books kinda. they're not stereotypcial mystery books, but the main character is a cop.

i really like the book BLINK, or ERAGON or ELDEST (which are the same series)

Blink is a psych book all about first impressions and how the subconcious knows things before your concious self does and ... yeah. awesome. :)

the kite runner by khaled hosseini (probably wrong and butchered) is AMAZING. also obsessed by ted dekker was fabulous....my friend really likes him. umm.... i agree though that wicked is good as well. and i wnat to get my hands on a copy of godless myself.

the possibilites are endless!\

check out the new york times bestseller list if you can't like any of these suggestions. oh man. i'm going to stop now.
