How rude! I always go to Soto and I love it there, so I've never had any hassles with Exomod, but I definitely won't be heading there any time soon.

The coffee at Soto is the best I've found in Mount Lawley but unfortunately they're not open late on Monday evenings. Admittedly the coffee at Exomod these days is pretty crap and I was already not a fan, but this was the final straw.

It's terrible that knitters be treated in such a fashion! The preparers of wool and yarn should be...

Sorry, Monty Python moment.

More seriously, that sucks and sounds like a yucky experience :( xx

It was extremely unpleasant and yet kind of funny at the same time.

We're getting photographed by the Perth Voice outside the cafe this afternoon. Never underestimate the power of knitters. :)

Really? Will there be an article or something?

I'd actually be interested in hearing what the council has to say about it.

It's their rules after all. I stopped shopping at exomod awhile ago. Remember when we tried the one in the city? Very ordinary hot chocolate and terribly over priced.

Keep an eye out for the Voice this Thurs/Fri. They took some pretty funny photos of us scowling with knitting needles. I also spoke to a reporter from Inside Cover/The West so hopefully something will come of that too.

Yes, it's pretty boggling. I couldn't believe a cafe director would treat a large group of customers like that in front of other customers!

Me either! If you were not buying anything and being disruptive, that would be one thing to politely ask you to leave. But knitters who chat and drink coffee?

Uhuh.
