So today I decided that I was going to clean my M.A.C. brush (129). I'm getting quite nervous about it. Both women I had talked to months earlier (one from Chanel, the other from M.A.C.) told me that I needed to clean my brushes under luke warm water with a shampoo thats for color treated hair. Today I went out and bought L'Oreal Vive Pro Color

Well, its not washing it that I'm worried about. I want to prolong the life of my "high quality" brushes so I don't have to spend another forty (what my chanel brush cost) in another two months or so. If I'm going to use something that would potentially harm my brushes, I would like to know before hand, or what would be the best method (cleaner) to go about the care of my brushes.

the mac brush cleaner works good, personally i wouldn't risk it with shampoo
