I was under the impression that a septum retainer could be worn at all times? I may have heard that from a bad source though. If that's the case I will go get a circular barbell for it soon.

Ohhh haha, you scared me there for a second. I was going to be like D: if I had been wearing this 24/7 and it was bad for my nose.

Do you think a circular barbell would look better? I had a small diameter one when I was at a 16g (it's 14g now) and I quite liked that.

Ditch the lip ring, and I think you should stretch your septum and get your both of your nostrils done. :)
