i've always wanted to have the other side of my nose pierced, but my work does not permit it. i am, however, going on vacation from work and will not be there for 11 days. tomorrow i was going to get my nose pierced, but as soon as i return to work i will need to wear a retainer. will changing it in 11 days be that harmful to the healing process?

yes it will. Don't do it unless the piercer will put in the retainer as initial jewelry.

and no piercer will pierce it w a retaner. it can cause infection. you should just wait for your vacation or something lol
