Recent events have made me feel extremely uncomfortable with interacting with the family, misunderstanding or not. I will no longer be a part of this and this is my last post to LJ. I am convinced that any effort to maintain a good relationship with the family has been thwarted.

Sorry to disappoint you, but we are forever connected by Lydia and Eli. There will be birthdays, weddings, graduations, etc. It's just a fact of life. We will always be part of your life.

for whatever has happened recently that has made you feel this way, Carrie. For what it's worth, I'm still willing to stay in contact with you and be a part of your life. The way I look at it is this: you became part of my life at exactly the same time, so you have the same value and love that everyone else does. That said, stay in touch!
