A friend emailed me last week that I hadn't seen in 5 years. I missed her wedding, the birth of her only daughter...and all over a political disagreement. living with Rob, I just did not want to talk politics to my best friend and it made her mad. We have no plans for New Year's eve. That's my least favorite time to be on any roads. We'll babysit for anyone who wants to go out, but only if you promise to be ultra careful, with all the drunk drivers out there. Scary stuff!

I would only do that if we could arrange an adult party for all the family members at our house. Like my bro, Mich, Amber, significant others, etc. I could try to arrange that but I'm doubtful that would occur with Amber's schedule and Mich's nightlife. We'll see. Thanks for the offer though!
