It might surprise some drivers currently using the roads in Cornwall to know that we are able to drive at 60 mph on our main A roads and that we use them to go from one place to another. They are not just a way of passing time

Oh lord, I remember this from growing up in South Devon... Every bloody year!

And every year, the idiots who would drive the wrong way down Totness High Street - which is clearly signposted 'One Way' - and those who drove the right way but didn't think not to take their lorries / caravans / etc. up into the Narrows. There's a clue in the name...

More embarrasing is when you're driving said roads for the first time and you just how irritating you are to the people behind who've had some practise!!
