We’re on the train from Firenze to Roma, travelling through the Tuscan countryside. Men who live on plains get Big Ideas.
Men who live on mountains see everybody else as tiny and insignificant.
But in Toscano, we have many small hills so we cannot see very far. And thus, we learned civilization.
The fireflies should be well and truly out by now. It is a splendid thing indeed.
