No, I'm Not Dead

Nov 29, 2007 09:20

Just been beyond busy lately.  One more week of classes, finals, then I have to find a place to live and move before school starts back up January 14th.

::looks up from his chanting::

Wait, she's not dead? You mean I don't get to raise her as a zombie yet? Damn it!

::starts grumbling and extinguishing candles::

What's up with the living situation? Er, the place you live, I mean, not that fact that you're still breathing on your own, without any mechanical or -- shall we say unnatural? -- assistance.

Hmm. Are you *sure* you're living? I mean, you do look pretty pale. Of course, you always look pale. . . .

The family is splitting up. Mom's moving back to the Midwest, Mike wants to move closer to Hollywood and I need to stay relatively close to the area I'm in right now ... for sake of commuting.

I appreciate the attempts at the resurrect, but as you can see, it's quite unnecessary. Then again, you do raise an interesting issue ... can you "live" without a soul?

Please, I've worked as a family law and probate paralegal and I've worked in the corporate world. I assure you that "living" appears to be quite possible among the soulless.

Sorry to hear about the household splitting up. It seemed like a pretty good arrangement for you. I hope you can find something good and convenient (and hopefully inexpensive) soon.

Every time I see news about Santa Ana winds and fires, I send you some fire-free wishes.

Thank you. Santa Ana is pretty far from me, but it's rather close to some people I know. It was the Stevenson Ranch a few months ago that was getting a bit close.
