I have a morbid fascination with reader comments to online newspaper articles. There are a lot of miserable people who hide behind the anonymity of the internet to dish out their particular flavor of spleen and vindictive spite.

Damn right, girl, there's people like that out there and by the dozens! I used to feel awful every time I ran into one of them because I thought I had to either help/vindicate myself but then I understood I couldn't possibly take it as something personal because THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW ME! They do it to everyone, wholesale shooting kinda thing, so off my mind, and pushed away to a safe distance. It's also an excercise in compassion/cruelty to see that I have to deal with them once in a while but they have to live with their miserable selves -all- the time *snicker*
