I'm a member of 50 Kinky Ways and a Ewan McGregor fanatic. I saw you had written some fic with Ewan and Nicole and would be interested in reading if possible. Thank you
Several years back, when I was involved with the matchbox twenty community on LJ, I remember you as a frequent poster. Then, when I got into the X-Files, I saw you about and recognized you. . . and then, most recently, I saw you post with a Conan O' Brien icon, and figured that you're someone I should perhaps get to know.
I also remember you posting a review of a Rob Thomas concert that took place in my area that I almost attended; Anna Nalick opened and made a general fool out of herself, if I recall correctly.
Anyhow, the coincidence was too strong to escape mention any longer. Friending me or not is at your discretion, but I had to speak up. =P
Well, your name wasn't linked to the community in my mind for no good reason, then! I stand corrected. And IWTB was the tipping point got me to sit down and properly get into the series, so I'm more of a baby than you, even. =P
As for Conan, I'm glad I'm not the only one to entertain fangirly notions. XD It's one of those things I let fester and seldom admit outright, because I'm likely to get an "eww, him?" and be subject to a battery of questions. But I was so there! And not disappointed.
And I totally did! I ended up not being allowed to go, though, despite living only a little over and hour away. When I read your report, I was sorry that I hadn't been there, but also glad to be able to live vicariously through you. I'm sure your experience more than made up for any discomfort.
Ha, so we have! I hadn't realized, but I agree - not friending would be tragic! So, off I go to reciprocate. =]
Hi! Random Queen Elizabeth the first fan, I saw your journal, and wanted to ask if you knew that the woman in the portrait of your journal is actually Mary Tudor (Queen Mary, Bloody Mary)?
I'm sorry to disappoint you, but it is not, it is The Princess Elizabeth painted by Levina Teerlinc in 1559. I have tinted her pink dress and hood to blue. Sometimes the portrait is attributed to William Scrots and 1549.
If you doubt me, perhaps you should visit Elizabeth's page on TudorHistory.org. Dear Lara has posted it as the opening image!
I stand corrected! I'm so very sorry to doubt you! hehe, I was confused by the blue dress I think, and thought it was the portrait of Mary thats very similar.
Thanks for the link to TudorHistory.org aswell, I havn't visited that one :)
Hi. I'm adding new friends to my list and I'm soon gonna post cool pics from Europe. I wasn't around for some time, but now I'm back, and I love Nicole Kidman among other things. If you want, go ahead and add me.
