I'm in a weird mood right now. I can't even explain what kind of mood it is. Kind of lonely, kind of sad. For no real reason at all.

I wish I could be there to comfort you instead of being a voice of unreason on the other end. Lofty aspirations, impossible ventures reach for reality drunk on love offered in coded language. Clear is a mind afraid of a past long dead, of a mother forgiven in a drowning pool. Apologies for what the day gives up to the night when it is hardest to see. Far away I listen for what I have called out and hope you hear in quick response. Your hand is extended and I am lifted up to a touch that knows where we will rest. In each other arms I find solace and dream of the love I will awake to, the soul smiling through understanding half opened eyes. I am awake and full of LOVE.
