I feel your pain. When I went to bed (not entirely of my own volition) last night, I was optimistic, though not as much as I had been. When I got up (no tely and someone else's internet and newspaper), I was still fairly hopeful. I just got to school and checked the net again, and there it was. I feel like I've been shot. No, I feel worse than that, because if I'd been shot a month from now, I'd be a bit sore and scabbed over, but the pain would be gone. This one won't go away that easily. Salt will be poured in many open wounds for years to come. As an aside, I'm pissed at Kerry for conceding. I'd have made the chimp sweat a bit, as God knows he needs to do. And do. And do

I agree with everything you said. And I can hear it now, once I start to talk about how I feel, that I too will be accused of being "Un-American". Well pardon me for wanting to see more of my countrymen happy and respected, and wanting to see less of them degraded and stripped of their rights. Pardon me for wanting to see us all thinking for ourselves, rather than settling for empty promises and lies.

If you haven't seen the movie Saved, one of the most talked-about scenes is when Jesus-fanatic Hilary Faye (Mandy Moore) shrieks the line "I am TOO filled with the love of Jesus Christ" ... as she ironically hurls her Bible hard at the back of Mary (Jena Malone).
Last night was this country's impersonation of Hilary Faye.
I wrote a mini-tome on the subject in my journal this AM... typical in its TSGGB passion and long-windedness... should you care to read it.
Otherwise, I am going to crawl back in bed and hide from the world today. That is, after I throw up.
how i just love you. i don't agree with everything you said (last time i checked kerry was just a rich white man, too) but some is all right. just be happy in knowing you did your part, and try to see the good (yes, there is some) in everything evil.
