Only thing is, Tamranians are like, THE MOST expressive and emotional creatures on the earth and bad things happen when they are suppressed, as we've seen? Wouldn't she not be able to stifle them like this, or at least have that have repercussions?

And I'm still a sucker for the bad boy. Damn that x-marked-skull-mask-wearing thief.

Second, (after jumping up and down squealing "Thank you! Thank you! :D") I definitely get what you mean with the characterization. For this piece, I basically raped and stole the version of Starfire that SylverEyes (on fanfiction.net) sometimes writes. Especially in her piece "Fall". But yeah, it's...different. I figure, Tamaranians are pretty intensely emotional - so while Star can take the punches, something she can't really deal with is loss.
Also, I figure I should just throw in there that I'm basically fainting and on my knees in awe over "Unfinished Business". Because that story just...just...rocks. Seriously. You /are/ a writer.
