I was just thinking about this fic. :)

This chapter was amazing. My heart was breaking for Cameron; her uncertainty and desperation seemed to slice right through the story, it was so sharp. The other characters were very good too; Cuddy was more competent in this fic than she's been all season, LOL, and I was waiting for House to make that "damaged" comment. It was also nice to know that - at least in this universe you've created - Chase and Cameron have a life together outside the hospital.

I can't wait for the next chapter! (And I know that if it gets too depressing, all I need to do is look at your header. :))

Love the way that you capture how Cameron would be crawling the walls in this situation, as well as the tapestry of people who are part of their lives. Can't wait for more!

I felt as frustrated as Cameron did. I like the details you added, giving them friends outside the hospital & I loved the bit about her curling up in Chase's coat. You've done a great job of getting inside Cameron's head.

Can't wait to read what comes next.

Again...great job!
I particularly liked the part where Cameron took Chase's jacket. I was touched (besides, I know I'd do the same). I get her frustration for not being able to control the situation and how her constant rule abiding was used against her desire to do something about what's happening.
Looking forward to the next chapter/s.

Happy Holidays, dear!
