does anyone else who lives in the Saginaw/birchrun area of michigan think it's absolutely amazing that Mae is coming to dirtfest?

maybe i'm the only one from around here in the community, but i'm pretty excited, because dirtfest used to be all local bands, and now, Mae, and The spill canvas are going to be there, i can't help but be excited!!♥

i just heard yesterday that mae is coming to birch run, and i'm about an hour away, so i'm excited! I'm definitely planning on going. However, I did not know about "dirtfest." What is this excursion you speak of?

that's their myspace, b/c everyone and everything has a myspace now...
it's been going on for i think it says 10 years, and it used to be all local bands, but now they are getting some big names in on it, so it should be a lot of fun, it's a few outdoor stages at the Expo center, and it's pretty sweet, it's like a really really small version of warped tour.. i think there are 3-5 stages.. but i had a blast last year, and this year should be even more fun.

I already got my tickets to the Birch Run date. :) It's more than an hour away but I'm still going, and I entered the meet & greet contest and won, so I get to meet them too xD
