I agree, the Matisse sculptures were disappointing. One of my more frustrating museum-viewing habits is the need to look at *everything* in an exhibit. :-/

But I'm glad you found some nice paper! And also that you had good times otherwise!

Hi JD!! Great to see you are thriving in SF. How does a boy with no money end up in the most expensive city this side of Tokyo??? However, that does not seem to keep you from enjoying the best the city has to offer--thanks for posting the pictures. Glad to hear Livermore is better than Oak Ridge. Location Location Location! "Be well, do good work and keep in touch" as the man says. Lots of love to a wonderful nephew from your A and U who love you.
PS: Jonathan: just as stock brokers may have info re: possible market collapses/bubbles bursting do Livermore Lab rats have insider tips on impending terrorist attacks?? Just want to know......I'll be in the bunker awaiting your reply..... Aunt Lee

I think the official Lawrence Livermore Nat'l Lab position on terrorist attacks is "It ain't gonna happen here". The security force and physical impenetrability of the lab are both impressive. As for anyone not lucky enough to work inside such a secure facility, well... there's always Bruce Willis, right?
