These days, most of my time at the lab is spent working on my final presentation, but when I get fed up with crunching numbers, I usually browse the huge LLNL internal site, filling out comment forms whenever I have something vaguely relevant to say, e.g ( Read more... )

What are your plans this weekend? Are you going to be working hardcore on your presentation? Or might you have some "free time"?

Not having a computer at the apartment, I have an ironclad excuse to myself for slacking on the weekends. I'd love to do something; let me just see how my other plans shake out so that I can suggest more specific days/places/activities.

Pshaw: I return in two weeks. Plenty of time to send a letter (three non-Sundays travel time). But if you wish to leave it as a housewarming gift, that would be cool too.

sadly, my peculiarly pungent body odor has really cut down on my number of friends. or it could just be that whenever I try and go to the grocery with them, I ram SUVs containing dogs and yuppies?

a dilemma for the ages, to be sure!

(my insurance company decided that though it was probably my fault, it was questionable enough to not raise my rates. hurray!)
