Thanks to shaggirl, who dug up the link and asked a few questions: GreatestJournal has a history of suspending users over adult contentIn this case it was an adult-rated photograph of two men having sex which was posted unlocked by accident. It wasn't fanart, but given the response from GJ, suspension without question or appeal, I'm not too sure

Thanks for posting this info. I was doing a back-up of my journal on GJ, but after hearing this IJ seems like the best option.

Question, since you've go through the cloning of journals already? is there a way to transfer comments as well as journal entries?

Not that I've heard of. I've only seen people transferring journal entries. If you want to copy your comments, you just have to save your entire journal to you harddrive.

I'm not all that happy with GJ. I asked what I thought was a quite legitimate question and had a pretty rude response. I felt like a criminal! Looks like IJ is the place to go. Journal Fen isn't quite as easy to work with, by the looks of things (no journal user search option).

Yep, JournalFen has too many points against them, imo. Their server is down a lot, it's invite-only, and it's 18+. While that last one doesn't bother me personally, I can definitely see it's going to bother others.

Wait, no unlocked porn allowed on GJ at all? That's worse than no underage fictional porn allowed. How could fandom operate without unlocked porn?? GJ is definitely not looking good.
