i have thought of you a lot this weekend, so in one sense you _were_ here.

the party was fun and it was good to see all these people i am fond of enjoying time together. ani and i went to see our sister on a not-so-nearby ferry (3 ferries and three hours + on highways), which was very lovely. we played a serious (yet in our hands, hysterical) game of Transformation. it's a board game where, with the throw of a die, you can end up on a higher spiritual realm. it was marvellous to behold our wise, pain-free existences. wish we'd played it years ago...
