Ack! Watch that first step, it's a doozy.

5 hours in the A&E just sounds blissful to me; I don't know what you're complaining about. *snort*

Poor thing. *hugs* I do hope that you won't need the full cast. Take care of yourself and rest up.

Ouch! So sorry to hear you hurt yourself. I hope it feels better soon.

Isn't that Natasha Richardson thing disturbing? I was just there too, and she's my age. It really upset me. Such a lovely woman.

Damn sneaky metal chair legs, jumping out when you least expect them. I'd have more faith in the theory of evolution if it would come up with useful stuff like human air bags and titanium brain covers.

I watched a bit of the lights dimming on Broadway and seeing Liam Neeson look so lost and sad was heartbreaking.

I'm fine darling. I forgot to post an update, but they took the cast off as I suspected they would.

There wasn't really a break - there was the possibility of a chip in the side of the vertical bone running south from the wrist, but he was happy that it was ok since I wasn't really in much pain. I think they'd judged it more from how much it hurt last week and the bruises that were coming out, and decided to be cautious.

I'm very glad cos I was totally over the novelty of having a cast after about 3 days - thank god I didn't need it for 6 weeks! Now I just have a strappy splint thing to support it - Doc said it'll be fine in a few weeks. So I got off easy I reckon. :D
