Oh, boy.

 Do you think anyone would mind if I rewrote "Earning?" ^^;;

I don't know. I know where I want to go with the story, but I think back on the rest of it and cringe with embarassment sometimes. It makes it harder to write the last two chapters. (That, and there are so many ways I want to begin this new one, I can't chose which is best!)
It's been ( Read more... )

Ah-ha! I suspected you were the same maeleene on ff.net! I think you were my BETA at some point, too XD (is hearmelaugh, for what it's worth)

I'd say feel better from being depressed, but it somehow sounds thoroughly pointless, so.... yeah.

Anyways, being a follower of Earning myself, I say just finish the old thing off, then start with your new one immediately. It's normal to cringe in discomfort when reading old stories (mine tend to sound incredibly empty-headed to me), but if people like them, then that's okay already. Just make sure not to repeat the same thing with the next story too.

Nice to have met you again!

I've a friend called Maeleene as well, what are the odds? :)

Dunno how wise my wisdom is, but if you've an excellent idea for another fic, start writing. I'm currently writing 4 stories at once, all incredibly different, and when I get stuck on one I'm inspired for another, and somehow it ends with more being written faster. I kid you not. Ideas also tend to get wilder and much more interesting than initially intended.

And oh yes, it'll be lovely to keep in touch!

I usually write more than one story at once, and it does help the ideas flow. My problem is when the ideas for one story flow faster than a story I have a previous obligation to, I tend to stop writing on the one I started first. (As is the case with Bloody ARMs, and about 90% of all my other fics.) I really want to finish this one up, and I'm actually a bit scared that if I don't, people will stab me with spoons.

Or something. :)

On a positive note, I've written a page and a half on the next chapter. After a year and a half hiatus. Eheh... heh... But it's going! I really want feedback on what I've written, but my normal pre-reader and person I bounce ideas off of has been busy. Go figure. -.-;

And it would indeed be luvly to keep in touch! (And congrats on your driver's license! Hee.)
