I wish I could have a Japanese person's hair. Their flat hair makes for great styles. ;_;

Do natural curly-headed Japanese people exist, or is a land of the flat/semi-wavy over there?

One of these days, I'm so going to Tokyo to grab some Pokemon swag. Japanese marketers always have THE BEST gaming swag, I'm so sad.

Is it true that if I went to Tokyo or another predominantly "vacation" area that Americans like to frequent, that not knowing how to read/speak Japanese wouldn't really affect my time there? I really, really would like to learn Japanese, but at the same time, I know it's going to be beyond hard to wrap my head around. It's one of my things I want to do in life sometime, though.

YAY FOR QUESTIONS ABOUT JAPAN 8D

I wish I had a Japanese person's face, body, hair... Sometimes I wish I was Japanese! Japanese people's hair is flat. I have not seen anyone with semi-wavy hair who hasn't had a perm, or done something to keep it that way, such as curling irons and the like. They can do so much with their hair, too. S'cool ( ... )

Oh, and before I forget, Japanese is not that hard. People just think it is. It is the same as any other language. There are even a bunch (read: about 10% of the language) that are the same as english words, just pronounced a little differently. Start on learning the first two writing systems (hiragana ひらがな and katakana カタカナ), and then you have it easy. :)

See, I get confused because of the symbols. The symbols look like chicken scratch to me.

This is horribly cliche, but what are most imported games written in? 8D

Sure, but I haven't really updated a lot about Japan lately!

Maybe this will give me the kick in the behind that I need to get into gear and start posting again... But then again, it may not, either.

Let me know what you think, comments appreciated!
