Good weekend

I spent this weekend in Jonesboro, as I do most. It was a very good time. The weekend culminated in a big D&D game. Very enjoyable. Because there are so many newer players, I was doing my best to get a long, well thought out adventure together because I want to make their early experiences memorable and also emphasize the importance of role-playing

You enjoy saying the word "din" way too much.

I noticed the exact same thing. I attribute it to a book I've recently read. There was one particularly compelling scene, where a man was wracked by a 'din' inside his head. It's stuck in my frequently used vocabulary. I'm going to keep an eye on that.

Me and Robert each bought 2nd Edition Player's Handbooks on eBay today. We also paid less for the two than a new 3rd Edition Player's Handbook costs, which is nuyce.

Oh yeah. I was thinking about the fight my character got in, and it dawned on me how hideously out of character it was. I mean, you specifically described my character as "quiet and reserved" and well, yeah...TOTAL CONTRADICTION. But it did get us in the back rooms. Ra ha ha!
