I wrote a Twilight fic?!?? Uh so yeah...

This was written on a sleep deprived high.
Weird AU fic. No, but seriously. Weird. Like they're sun and moon beings weird.
Based on the part when Alice comes back to tell Bella that Eddieboy is going to kill himself.
Only like 700something words.

"So you're leaving."
Bella looked up from where she stood at the edge of Twilight watching
the moon begin its ascent. Standing there, sorrow clear in his dark eyes
was Jacob. Bella smiled sadly at him and nodded.
"I knew you would. From the start, I knew. But yet I still hoped."
Bella longed to embrace him and hold him tightly until all the sadness
fled from his voice. But she knew that did would only make her decision
to leave the Sun Realm harder on the both of them.
"I'm sorry," she said quietly her eyes turning back to the close yet
distant border of the Moon Realm.
"Don't be. I get it. It hurts like hell." He laughed humorously. "But I
get it."
"Are you mad?" Bella asked. What she meant was Do you hate me.
But she could not bring herself to ask those words, she feared what her
best friend would answer.
"I love you Bella. More than the Sun itself. I could never be mad at
you. I promised you didn't I. I would never hurt you. Not like he
did."
Bella tried to ignore the pang of hurt that shot though her at his
accusing words. She had been hurt when Edward had left her. The Moon
Celestial had left and taken with him most of her heart. She had hurt
more then she had ever thought she ever could. It had been so hard, she
had been so lost, but in Jacob, Bella had found her way. She had found
her sun. And now Bella would need to let her sun go in order to save her
moon. Edward needed her and she could not let him die in some guilty
atonement he believed he owed for her death that had not happened.
"Jacob, I... I'm sorry." Bella apologized again. She hoped that the sun
celestial would understand that she was apologizing for everything. For
all the hurt and pain she had put him through, for leaving him, for not
loving him as he loved her.
"Are you sure you want to do this Bella? You owe him nothing, you know.
You could stay here. You could be happy. I would do anything for you
Bella. I would be your everything." Jacob pleaded with her.
"I love him Jacob. I will not let him die because of me. If I can save
him..." Bella looked up to stare at the celestial, her eyes wide and
imploring.
Jacob held her gaze the look in eyes matching her own.
"Bella, I'm begging you-" Jacob stopped eyes narrowed as the air next to
Bella began to shimmer.
"Bella! Are you ready? We must go now." The moon celestial who had
arrived, stepping out of the shimmering air, asked her voice concerned
and hurried.
"Just one more minute, Alice."
Bella took one more look at Jacob who was glaring at the moon celestial.
"I have to Jake."
Jacob stopped glaring at Alice to look at Bella, a disapproving frown on
his face that did not match the look in his eyes begging her not to go.
"Go then. I will be waiting, as always."
Bella opened her mouth to respond, to say something, anything to make
his hurt go away. But as she felt Alice take her hand and the look of
betrayal on Jacob's face, she knew there was nothing she could say. She
turned away from the sun celestial to nod at Alice.
"I'm ready."
Bella took a deep breath as the air began to shift her around her and
Alice who gripped her hand tightly.
"Remember. Think of nothing but Edward. Clear that stupid heat flare
from your mind." Alice warned.
"Right." Bella took another deep breath and focused her thoughts on
Edward.
"Now." Alice whispered as she took a step forward. Bella followed right
behind her. She sighed in relief as not a second later, her hand still
firmly grasped in Alice's, she stepped into the clearing that she had
often come to with Edward. Bella ripped her hand out of Alice's to
clutch at her chest which had lurched painfully.
'He doesn't want you.' A voice that sounded a little like Jacob's, a
little like her own, whispered into her head. Bella held in the urge
that was growing to scream.
"I do not care. I will not let him die for me," she muttered to herself.
Looking up at Alice she shook her head and smiled at the moon
celestial's concerned look.
"Let's go." Bella stated as she straightened and began to walk forward.
