Facebook is a good place to get publicity for the events themselves, but it is definitely not a place for art critiques. If that's what you're looking for, then dA and its like are where you want to head.
Unfortunately, dA seems to have taken a hit recently and it's a pain to actually get a critique from your own watchers XD. Apart from us of course, cos we're wonderful and all. Joking aside, you're probably better going to people who aren't involved with the events, or your art classmates or teacher and asking them for a critique and what you could make better.

On the other hand, I'm usually among the people who just say "it's good." Sometimes it's because I don't want to insult, but more often it's because I don't know how to make it any better. Sure, it's not perfect, but I'm no artist and I have no idea what's wrong with it.
This isn't a very helpful comment, is it? =S Ah, whatever. By the way, you might want to check the Earthsong forum...

problems aside, dA is always going to be a better bet for critique, since facebook is largely people who wouldn't know what to say even if you did ask for constructive criticism.
(I really love them though--even though that's exactly what you DON'T want people to tell you.)
