We're looking for some new music to choreograph to, and it'd be great to widen our search beyond what we already have / know.

So, if you have any favorite songs / musical pieces which have no (English) lyrics, which you really enjoy or which touches you emotionally or challenges you in some way, please leave a comment!

Everything I've heard from the Isotopes. Not sure how amenable their songs are to choreography, but they're who I think of immediately if you ask me about my favorite instrumentals.

On the grounds that (English) lyrics are potentially distracting / at odds with the choreographed arrangement? (What do you do with multilingual audience members?)

Anyway--with my not-being-difficult hat on, I find it hard nonetheless to come up with something that might work for the parameters and that doesn't merely exoticize something for having lyrics in a language other than English; stuff is usually more meaningful to me when I "get" the lyrics as well as the instrumentals.... Okay, enough disclaimers--

* Juanes, "La camisa negra" (YT link but ignore the video part, which is someone's randomly supplied thing)

* Alastair Fraser and Natalie Haas, "John Macdonald's"

* Super Junior, "Success," from a police-procedural tv show's soundtrack--hey, repetitive R&B/pop is easy to clip (despite the filename, the lyrics are mostly in Korean, and no, I don't understand them ( ... )
