Krissy is pregnant!

We found out Thursday, but because we hadn't told our parents until this weekend, I didn't want to make any announcements.  She's tentatively due March 2nd.  We were trying for 2 years, so it's welcome news.

And so begins the next stage of my life.

I worked from home yesterday to get some stuff done. Got the car in for an oil change and safety inspection (plates are due). Everything went fine there. Then the guy came out to install our brand new garage door (our old one broke the spring and was unusable). Everything went fine with that until he left. Today is opening day for the Cardinals at the brand new stadium downtown. It's a big deal in St. Louis, and a big deal at my work. Whew, nasty storms last night. Our house is fine, but our neighbor across the street had a huge pine tree snap at the base of the trunk, take out a corner of their garage, and knock down the power lines going to their house. I'd like to officially request that "daylight savings time" be changed to "day savings time". Instead of setting the clocks ahead 1 hour, I propose we add 1 hour to every day. This hour may be used by every individual however they like, and cannot be interrupted. Individuals may agree to spend the same hour together if their interests are shared ( Read more... )
