Today's foods

I really wish I could have contained myself enough to take a picture before destroying my brunch but I was far too hungry.

Brunch consisted of:

- 1 egg, lightly poached (2 points)
- 1 piece of whole wheat toast (2 points)
- 1 tsp of margarine (1 point)
- 2 spears of asparagus (0 points)

Simple, but pretty. Also delicious.



Supper has not been eaten yet but so far I am thinking of doing spaghetti and bolognese sauce with steamed veggies on the side.

- 1 cup cooked whole wheat spaghettini (2 points)
- 1 cup tomato + meat + veggie sauce (lean ground turkey, onion, mushroom, tomato, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, celery, carrot, zucchini if I can find any) (4 points)
- Steamed broccoli and cauliflower florets (0 points)
- 1 tsp of margarine (1 point)
- 1 oz of low-fat old cheddar cheese (2 points) edit, forgot the cheese!

I am going to do my best to start taking pictures of food as I plate it up. For some reason, making pretty food makes this weight loss adventure more fun.

I'm kind of excited and also kind of scared to start the workout regimen. I know in the long run I'll feel a lot better for it, but in the short term I predict pain, some embarrassment, lots of exercise-induced asthma, and chagrin at my body's inability to do what my mind wants it to do.
