A Korean Stranger

During my 2 hour ride to Busan from Jinju (a total of 3 1/2 hours from my hometown) I sat next to a young Korean guy. He slept most of the time but as we were entering the city he woke up and noticed I was reading a Korean phrasebook. He asked me if I spoke Korean and where I was from. YAY! I'm glad you're having such a wonderful time! Happy New Year! Sorry I missed you while you were here, but you know I don't do goodbyes anyway. Sounds like your family is awesome...I guess lounging in front of the plasma TV is not exactly what I anticipated you would go through out there. Must be rough! You know Busan was one of the important zones during the Korean War. I don't remember what happened there, but you should look up the history. Mmm kay...well, have fun, keep writing, and eat a lot for me!
