Yesterday was Beltane, and it seems like Spring is finally here to stay in my leetal corner of the Mid-Atlantic; everything is golden-green or in flower here, and the weather has reached that equinoxical perfection that will turn to oppressive heat in just a few fleeting weeks, but in the meantime is lovely, lovely, lovely.

The pain about dandelions is not the flowers, which are very nice, it's the leaves with the little pointy things that hurt when you step on them. And, they kill the grass, so if you are into lawn-wars... ANd once the flowers are gone, all that's left is the nasty pointy leaves. And in our case, we have a hard enough time keeping the grass nice with 3 dogs.
