So I've taken a short medical leave from work, about a week and half's worth. My pain issues have ramped up a lot in the past couple of weeks and along with the side-effects of going on a new pill to control the endo, I'm only marginally functional. Ya, I started cutting out wheat today. My appointment is on Monday and hopefully we can schedule blood tests right away. From what I understand, your indicators return to baseline after a few weeks on a gluten-free diet, so I don't want to chance having a false negative, you know?

Aw, I hope this level of misery doesn't persist much longer. =/

There are a lot of resources and ideas for a GF diet, but if you want to ask me questions or tap me for GF food ideas, just send me an email. I remember feeling really stuck and uninspired when I first changed my diet; I had no idea what my options even were. I did GF strictly for a few months and for over a year total (with minor slip-ups, hehe) when I was having all of my stomach issues.
