I think I read Mary Daly in 1995-96. I was reading a lot of radical feminist, animal rights and ecofeminist texts at the time, and they informed a great deal of my nascent socio-political leanings. I haven't gone back to re-read them since, however.

Imagine my horror now, as I look back at this particular bit of wisdom:
