Lovely, delicious books. This medical leave has given me some time for much-need self-reflection, and reading non-fiction again is a big part of that. (When I'm stressed out, I tend to read purely for diversion - fantasy, romance, whatever. As long as it's well-written and fun, that's all I ask.)

Ooh, I have wanted to pick up the Time-Life Enchanted Worlds forever. I never thought to check Amazon! I wonder if they have some of the Time-Life Foods of the World volume am missing? Off to shop for my upcoming medical leave.

I was so happy to find them there!

I got a bunch through Powells as well. They were a bit pricier that some of the ones I found via Amazon, but the shipping was free and since I'm getting them shipped to a relative in the States it made sense to get everything condensed into one order as much as possible.
