We're well and truly in the middle of  summer here.  The last eight days have seen temperatures ranging between 30°C (86°F) and 39°C (102°F).  However, this hasn't stopped plants in my garden from flowering.

As usual, these are fantastic pictures of beautiful plants and blooms. I could DIE for those red roses at the bottom. Do they smell as enchanting as they look?

Unfortunately, the roses don't have a strong perfume. You can usually smell them best at the time the fowers are opening. The perfume is sweet, but subtle.
