Spring Flowers

Spring has finally arrived in my garden. 2-3 years ago, many of the flowers would have bloomed 2-3 weeks earlier. The seasons are getting later and later. Who knows, we may eventually swap seasons with the Northern Hemisphere! :)

The freesias make it a pleasure to walk in the garden - both the colours and the fragrance wafting as you walk past.

Ah, loveliness!!!!! Looks like the rain didn't dampen the flowers' spirits, or your camera's. ;)

The purple freesias are particularly pretty this year (and very sweet-smelling). Yes, the garden loves the rain!

I only pulled six baby carrots. The rest aren't quite big enough yet. They tasted sweet. I'm looking forward to more in the near future!

I love this time of the year with the sweet-smelling perfume in the air. I wish I could attach a "scent" file! I wonder if there's a freesia perfume? If there isn't, there should be!
